    New Virtual Exercise Classes!
Terri Z has recorded 2 new fitness classes which are available thru Acton TV. There is a one-hour Senior Fitness class and a 40 minute chair exercise class with cardio intervals. They have been added to the "Senior Center at Home" playlist on Acton TV's YouTube channel. If you watch on cable tv these new recordings will replace the classes of the same name that have been airing since March. Check links below. Thank you to Terri, volunteer videographer Lori Cooney and Acton TV for making this happen!

Acton Senior Center at Home exercise and movement classes with our instructors and highlights from our lectures series are now available on Acton TV (see schedule here) and on Acton TV's YouTube channel (see playlist here).

    New Yoga videos from Patsy
    - one is 1hr20mins and like the class she teaches at Acton COA, the second is a 45 min yoga vidra for deep relaxation - who doesn't need that??

Share Your Creative Project Photos with Us!
We’ve really enjoyed sharing photos of seniors’ gardens on our Facebook page (@actoncoa). We hope you will share more photos with us to post on Facebook, specifically of a creative project you have worked on during the pandemic—art, something you cooked or baked, craft project, a home improvement accomplishment. Spending more time at home has given some folks time to explore their creative side. It will be fun to see what everyone is doing and gain inspiration from each other. Please email your photos to us at seniorcenter@actonma.gov. If you include yourself in a photo, all the better! Only your first name and first letter of last name will be published.

  1. Upcoming Events

During the continuing COVID-19 pandemic we are unable to host events in the Senior Center building. We are continuing to provide programs and classes via Zoom and on Acton TV. During the summer we are scheduling some 'Drive-Thru' events such as a BBQ, a Brunch and a drive-up shredding event. Lunches are provided as a 'grab & go' from the dining room. Click on the calendar above for the schedule and the newsletter for details.
